The final walk-through is\nyour last chance to make sure your new home is exactly in the same condition as\nwhat you agreed to purchase. This review can take place anywhere from a few\nhours to a few days before the final closing. The walk-through is an important\nfinal step in making sure that all expectations have been met and your new home\nis really ready for you to take ownership. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Keep in mind that your final walk-through is NOT the same\nas a home inspection. You should have already brought in an inspector and given\nthe seller time to make any requested repairs. The walk-through isn\u2019t the time\nto begin new negotiations. Rather, it\u2019s just a last chance to make sure that\nthe seller has kept up their end of the contract, and to make sure nothing\nabout the property has changed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
